Natural Newborn Photography in the Hawkesbury
I’m Sarah, a newborn photographer based in the Hawkesbury, passionate about capturing genuine moments of your baby’s earliest days. I specialise in relaxed, baby-led studio newborn sessions that focus on connection between your family members, gentle movements and timeless imagery parents cherish forever.
My Hawkesbury newborn photography sessions are relaxed and comfortable, perfect for babies and parents who want natural photos without the rush. I work with you to capture authentic moments — from sleepy cuddles to tiny toes — in a warm, safe atmosphere in my studio located in Kurrajong Hills.
Studio Newborn Sessions Designed for You
Each newborn session is tailored for your family’s needs. Sessions include gentle posing, safe handling, natural lighting and a range of heartfelt captures — from parent-baby moments, sibling interactions and tiny details like hands and cheeks. Every photo tells a story, and I aim to deliver images that feel as real and beautiful as your memories.
I proudly serve families throughout the Hawkesbury region including Kurrajong Hills, Windsor, Richmond, North Richmond and surrounding suburbs. My approach combines artistic skill with a calm and encouraging environment so you can relax knowing your baby is in caring hands.

Newborn sessions with me are quiet, warm, and centred around what your baby needs.
I follow a baby-led approach, meaning:
• We do not force poses
• We go at baby’s pace
• We stop for feeds, cuddles, and settling when needed
• Safety & comfort always come first
I focus on simplicity, genuine connection, and minimal styling so your images feel clean, soft, and timeless — not over-posed or overly styled.
Every newborn session includes:
✔️ Baby-led posing & natural styling
✔️ Access to wraps, blankets & props
✔️ Studio wardrobe options for mum
✔️ Family & sibling photos included
✔️ Time for feeding + settling
✔️ Professional editing & retouching
✔️ Private viewing gallery to select images
Your baby’s comfort is the priority, always.
Newborns are ideally photographed between 5–21 days old, when they are sleepiest and most curled.
If your baby is older — don’t stress. I photograph babies up to 12 weeks with a relaxed, lifestyle approach.
Booking while pregnant is recommended as spots fill quickly.
You’ll arrive at my peaceful home studio and we’ll settle into a cosy, warm space. There’s no rush and no pressure — if baby needs a feed, a cuddle, or a little break, we stop.
Most parents say:
“It felt like a calm morning to just enjoy our baby.”
I’ll gently guide baby into natural, safe poses and capture:
• Full baby portraits
• Tiny macro details (lashes, lips, toes)
• Family connection portraits
• Individual parent images
You can choose to have your newborn session in my Kurrajong studio or in the comfort of your own home. In-home sessions are available for an additional fee.
